For Faculty

Introduction

The Beyond Plagiarism project aims to guide students toward effective source use. We believe it is possible to forestall unintentional plagiarism and plagiarism related to poor time management by teaching skills related to source use.

In addition to teaching students, we offer a number of resources for faculty.

This module has four sections.

Section A provides information on how to teach from this site

Section B offers tips from experts on preventing plagiarism through instruction, assignment design, and attention to student needs

Section C guides instructors through the process of meeting with a student to discuss suspected plagiarism

Section D provides research-based resources on academic integrity
